Brandy Dowdy, MSN, ARNP, PMHNP-BC has undergone academic and clinical training to become skilled in the diagnosis and treatment of mental health disorders. She earned a Masters of Science Degree in Nursing with a concentration in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner along with national board certification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Her experiences include beginning as a bedside registered nurse in a trauma care unit, staff nursing in a variety of specialities, including psychiatry and behavioral health. She also has experience in hospital quality management and regulatory compliance and advising roles. She has successfully treated those with various mental health conditions and is dedicated to providing quality behavioral care.
