Brandy Dowdy, MSN, ARNP, PMHNP-BC has undergone academic and clinical training to become skilled in the diagnosis and treatment of mental health disorders. She earned a Masters of Science Degree in Nursing with a concentration in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from the University of Alabama along with national board certification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Prior to embarking on her career as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, Brandy earned her Bachelors of Science in Nursing and a JD degrees. Her experiences include beginning as a bedside registered nurse in a trauma care unit, staff nursing in a variety of specialities, including psychiatry and behavioral health. She also has experience in hospital quality management and regulatory compliance and advising roles.  She has successfully treated those with various mental health conditions and is dedicated to providing quality and compassionate and behavioral care.
